Built and fitted out in 2007 by Narrowcraft SP in their own dedicated boat building factory in Poland. All the Steel was sourced in the UK and shipped where skilled workers from the Gdansk ship yards constructed these robust craft. They were then fitted out using UK marine equipment and the very best Scandinavian wood. Wilhamina is fitted out in Oak with solid oak trim to compliment. You will find NO MDF on a Narrowcraft boat.
Wilhamina is reverse layout.
So from the steering position at the rear the sociable space extends into the lounge where there is room for some fee standing furniture as well as a raised L shape seating/dining area that makes up into a handy extra double berth.
The flooring is real hardwood and laid under all bulkheads and cupboards. This makes alterations easy with a Narrowcraft boat. There is a glazed oak cabinet in the lounge and also a solid fuel stove fitted for winter comfort.
The washing machine is located by the steps and next to a large cupboard for storage. All the boat electrics are very neatly stored in an electric service cupboard.
Moving along the boat towards the Galley it becomes obvious that the windows are larger than standard. This gives more light and a better view of the nature outside. This is of course only achievable by the generous headroom throughout the vessel.
Large solid basalt worktops fitted to a neat offset "U" galley to port. Here there is a 12volt fridge with ice box, sink and drainer, Gas oven, grill and 4 burner hob. Two cupboards are fitted with "magic corner" revolving racks to make best use of the otherwise dead space. There is even a wine rack built in. The floor in the Galley area has been tiled so as spillage can be easily mopped away.
The bathroom is walkthrough and gives lots of room for changing and drying after showering. There is a full height quadrant shower with mixer bar installed and also a porcelain wash basin once again set on a unit topped with solid basalt so as to compliment the kitchen work surfaces. The unit has good storage for all the bathroom essentials... The floor tiles continue from the galley area allowing for wet and damp to be cleaned easily. There is also a heated towel rail fitted. The toilet is a Tecma macerator toilet with electric flush and a very large holding tank (100 gallons) fitted. This means that there are no nasty smells or odours and you don't need a pump out once a week! Note although the bathroom is a walk through bathroom, it has been designed so as it could be converted to a corridor bathroom if required.
The bed is located at the bow facing forwards. There is plenty of storage under as well as a large mirrored wardrobe with sliding doors. A small cupboard unit is fitted in the corner. Although the bed is a fixed boat double bed it can extend if required to make into a full sized double!
Solid hardwood glazed doors lead into the well deck which is covered by a cratch canopy cover. In the well deck area there are seat lockers both starboard and port, essential for navigation equipment storage.
Wilhamina has been built and finished to an excellent standard and has had very little use since new. If being built to this specification today the cost would be in the region of £125,000.00
