James is powered by a Beta Kabota 35hp engine. James has been serviced regularly and doesn’t smoke when starting up or running. I’ve had all the original fuel lines replaced so there are no diesel leaks. I've had the drive plate replaced too. James has been super reliable and hasn’t needed much work. Maria Dutch Barge £76,000
Maria was built in Holland in the 1930’s as a cargo carrier, a Kagenar barge. In the 1970’s she was converted into a live-aboard. We found her in Holland in 2012 and brought her back to UK for a full refit. She is a 10ft wide, a perfect widebeam boat to cruise around the canal in.
