‘Lafayette’ is a beautifully presented 56ft Semi-Traditional Narrowboat, built by the highly regarded Piper Boatbuilders in 2003. She features a professional fit-out in solid ash tongue and groove with matching solid ash trims, showcasing excellent craftsmanship and a warm, inviting interior. She is powered by the reliable Beta Marine 38hp diesel engine with a new PRM 120 gearbox fitted in August 2025.

In 2011, Lafayette received a professional repaint by renowned boat painter Andy Russell, ensuring she remains as striking on the outside as she is comfortable within.
