Idly Dan – 4-Berth Traditional 60ft Narrowboat by David Piper (1982)
Originally built as a showboat for the West Trundling Company, Idly Dan is a beautifully crafted 60ft traditional narrowboat by David Piper. We've lived aboard for the past 5 years, lovingly modernising her while staying true to her original character. She’s fully equipped, well-maintained, and ready for immediate liveaboard life.

Recent Maintenance (April 2024):
* Full out-of-water survey including hull thickness readings
* Jet-washed and blacked with 3 coats of Rylard (including baseplate)
* 4 new anodes
* Overplated wet gas locker
* Fresh paint: roof, gunwales, hatches, seating areas, and cabin sides
BSS valid until October 2025 – passed with no recommendations. Full service history and receipts included.
