Lord Llangattock is a 52ft semi-traditional narrowboat, built by Piper and fitted out by Scenic Boat Builders. Designed with generous internal space, this boat strikes a solid balance between comfort, efficiency, perfect for extended cruising or full-time living.

He’s fitted with a Victron inverter/charger (operating in multistage mode when on landline), four solar panels (400w), 1 starter & 3 leisure batteries and a Victron smart solar charge controller—making off-grid living not just possible, but practical.
Heating and hot water come via a calorifier and a Hobbit 4kw solid fuel stove provides heatingss, with a Webasto central heating system onboard (currently not in operation). The stainless steel water tank holds approx. 100 gallons, ensuring a good supply for day-to-day life afloat.
Inside, you’ll find a double bed and a sofa bed, offering four berths in total. The bathroom includes a Thetford cassette toilet, vanity basin, and shower. The galley is fully equipped with a cooker and four-burner hob, a 12v LEC fridge, and ample worktop and cupboard space, making onboard living feel seamless.
Built with a 10/6/5/4 steel hull, this boat features solid wood flooring, ply cabin sides, and sprayfoam insulation. Windows include both portholes and top-opening styles, adding flexibility and light. The cratch cover extends useful space at the bow. Although due for blacking (last completed in 2020), Lord Llangattock holds a Boat Safety Certificate valid until 2027, providing peace of mind for the years ahead.

A boat is not valued on its age. The age of a boat is irrelevant. A boat is valued based on who built the hull? Who fitted the boat out and what type of materials were used (Hard wood or MDF etc) What equipment does the boat have (Bow thruster, generator, inverters etc) These are just a few of the many factors that equate to the correct value of a boat.

BUYERS & SELLERS
When you buy a boat from us you pay all monies in to our company clients trust account which means that the buyers and sellers money is protected. This is the same account that solicitors set up for house sales .This money does not belong to the company it belongs to the buyer until the sale is complete and then we pay the seller from the company clients trust account. We cannot release the money from the Clients Trust Account to the seller until the vessel has been accepted and handed over to the buyer because if there was a fault with the vessel and the buyer refused to accept it and wanted their money back we could not do this because the seller would of already had the money. This could become a very costly and messy problem for all parties.
This money never enters our company current account. This also means that we cannot use customers money for other purchases/reasons. If at any point the company went bust then the buyers/sellers money is safe and it would go back to the rightful owner of the money.
We have had this company clients trust account set up from day one to protect our customers money. This account is a secure holding account. We pay the seller monies due from this account when the buyer has signed to accept the vessel. Payment is made from this account to the seller by cheque from the clients Trust Account which is protected guaranteed funds.
