2000 build, Pinder Dutch Barge, 57' x 13' 6" £109,950
Papillon is spacious live aboard, with two bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms.
The wheelhouse is double glazed and contains a large, comfortable seating area for cruising. There are also several storage cupboards and units in the wheelhouse, handy for shoes, life jackets, and general boating paraphernalia.
Steering is via a wheel, and she is powered by a powerful and reliable120hp Ford Lehman engine (serviced July 2026). There is a NAVMAN radio, plus a screen connected to three external cameras for easier navigation, (an additional one is located in the well lit and spacious engine bay). For added security and to keep the boat warm in winter, a folding hardwood hatch has been fitted to the top of the stairs, leading down into the boat.
Entering down stairs from the wheelhouse you come to a fully fitted kitchen, with gas cooker and integrated fridge with a freezer compartment. The large living room has two sofas, one of which converts to a comfortable double bed. A multi-fuel burner is present and has benefitted from recent replacement of all internal parts ready for the cooler weather. There is an opening 'dog box' sky light in the saloon meaning this space is light and airy - especially in the summer with the canvas cover removed. The master bedroom has a fitted double bed with storage underneath, and there is also ample clothes hanging storage and a single wardrobe with shelving. A double glazed escape hatch overlooks the foredeck. Again a 'dog box' sky light is present.
The ensuite to the master bedroom is newly fitted (April '25) with a sink/vanity unit, quadrant shower with whale gulper pump and a Thetford porcelain bowl cassette toilet, (2 cassettes included). There is also a hidden, spacious storage cupboard in the bathroom.
The back bedroom is accessed via a corridor from the bottom of the stairs, meaning there is no need to go via the wheel house. This room is currently being used as an office, but will easily accommodate a single bed or double sofa bed. A double glazed escape hatch is present. The second ensuite contains a sink/vanity unit, a square shower cubicle and a cassette toilet (2 cassettes included). Housed in the large storage area in the back bedroom is a washing machine.
The windows throughout the boat are double glazed.
Outside there is a spacious fore deck, perfect for sundowners, and an extremely large storage area in the forepeak accessed by a hatch to a ladder. A mechanical windless and anchor are present with plenty of chain in an internal storage locker. The fore deck, gunnels and main living accommodation roof were re painted summer 2025, with high grip paint.
The aft deck currently houses a 3kw Honda generator .
