65ft Cruiser | Built by Pat Buckle | Overplated
Bwaajige Ngwaagan is a striking 65ft cruiser stern narrowboat, built by Pat Buckle and beautifully named after the ancient concept of the “Dream Snare”—what we now know as the Dreamcatcher. With a strong, confident presence on the water, she has recently benefited from overplating in 2023 along with fresh 2-pac blacking, making her fully prepared for new journeys ahead.
Originally built to a 10/6/4 steel specification with a flat-bottom hull, she offers a solid, reliable foundation for long-term cruising. Her Thornycroft engine, keel cooling, and Hurth gearbox provide steady, traditional performance, supported by a 40-gallon diesel tank. The combination creates a smooth, dependable cruising experience befitting a boat of her size and stature.
Inside, the interior blends practicality with a warm, crafted feel in a desired reverse layout. Vinyl flooring pairs with tongue-and-groove cabin sides and Rockwool insulation, complemented by a mix of top-opening and sliding windows that brighten the cabin space. The galley is equipped with a Thetford Caprice MK3 cooker and a Dometic fridge/freezer, while the saloon offers ample room and the potential for additional berths. A fixed double bed provides comfortable sleeping accommodation, ideal for extended stays afloat.
Hot water is supplied through a calorifier and immersion, while heating comes via the much-loved Morso Squirrel stove—an enduring favourite among continuous cruisers. She carries approximately 100 gallons of fresh water, supporting longer trips with confidence. The electrical setup includes 12v and 240v systems, a 1600w inverter, one starter and three leisure batteries, plus three 100w solar panels with an MPPT controller, giving excellent off-grid capability.
Bwaajige Ngwaagan comes with a cratch cover, a Boat Safety Certificate valid until May 2027, with having undergone a full overplating of the base and sides in 2023 and 2pac blacking, reinforcing her long-term structural integrity.

A boat is not valued on its age. The age of a boat is irrelevant. A boat is valued based on who built the hull? Who fitted the boat out and what type of materials were used (Hard wood or MDF etc) What equipment does the boat have (Bow thruster, generator, inverters etc) These are just a few of the many factors that equate to the correct value of a boat.

BUYERS & SELLERS
When you buy a boat from us you pay all monies in to our company clients trust account which means that the buyers and sellers money is protected. This is the same account that solicitors set up for house sales .This money does not belong to the company it belongs to the buyer until the sale is complete and then we pay the seller from the company clients trust account. We cannot release the money from the Clients Trust Account to the seller until the vessel has been accepted and handed over to the buyer because if there was a fault with the vessel and the buyer refused to accept it and wanted their money back we could not do this because the seller would of already had the money. This could become a very costly and messy problem for all parties.
This money never enters our company current account. This also means that we cannot use customers money for other purchases/reasons. If at any point the company went bust then the buyers/sellers money is safe and it would go back to the rightful owner of the money.
We have had this company clients trust account set up from day one to protect our customers money. This account is a secure holding account. We pay the seller monies due from this account when the buyer has signed to accept the vessel. Payment is made from this account to the seller by cheque from the clients Trust Account which is protected guaranteed funds.
