‘Clara Scintilla’ is a beautifully presented 58ft semi-traditional narrowboat, built by Ortomarine on a renowned Mike Christian hull. Originally showcased at the Crick Boat Show in 2017, she features the ever-popular reverse layout, offering a spacious and highly practical living arrangement.
Lovingly maintained and significantly upgraded, ‘Clara Scintilla’ underwent a professional repaint by the highly regarded John Howard at Swanley Bridge Marina in 2023, giving her a striking and well-finished appearance. The hull has recently been professionally grit blasted and treated with a full two-pack epoxy system, including four coats of blacking, completed by D& J Engineering. Further upgrades include new Caldwell’s thermal break double-glazed windows fitted in 2024.
