Gort is a historic 71’ 6” wooden working boat built in 1939 by Nursers, Braunston, converted in 1960. She was built as a working boat for coal carriers Samuel Barlow. She has a wooden hull and superstructure, and a Gardner 2L2 diesel engine. She was originally paired with butty Hazel. The boat is beautifully presented and won the HNBC Keay award in 2024. She was painted in her original colours by Ron Hough.
