Finished in British Waterways livery and featuring a 9ft front deck, and powered by a BMC 1500 diesel engine, with twin solar panels mounted on the roof, the Reverend John Manton is a 3 berth trad backed tug style boat that has been well maintained and is in good order.
Her boat safety certificate is valid to September 2022, and was last blacked in September 2019.
Inside the boat from the front deck the walls have been recently finished in a soft white giving a light and airy feel, a Morso Squirrel fitted with a back boiler, and new flue provides ample warmth in the saloon, moving into the galley there is a water heater, fridge and cooker, with cupboard space beneath the stainless steel sink with mixer taps, all of these appliances are clean and in good order.
Next is the bathroom with bath and shower fitting, toilet and vanity basin, with a wall mounted radiator opposite the bath.
Moving into the engine room, a clean and regularly maintained BMC 1500 coupled to a PRM gearbox, a traditional upswept exhaust that makes for remarkably quiet running, and with twin hatches either side and ample storage in the many utility cupboards making for a pleasant working environment .
Moving into the boatmans' cabin, it features a traditional fold down cross bed with plenty of storage space, a small 'Epping ' style stove and a control panel with a Bowden cable lever.
The boat is supplied with all necessary sheets (ropes) mooring pins , windlass ,poles, fenders and tools etc, and is ready to cruise.
