Description

Tiger is a lovely 58’6” reverse layout semi-trad narrowboat built in 2007 by M& D Engineering, and fitted out by Midas Narrowboats to a very high standard.
She was last blacked in 2023.

The semi-trad deck features a portside locker, with the Barrus Shire 45hp engine housed below. A reasonable condition pram cover keeps this deck protected from the elements, with steps leading down through the off-centre door.
The saloon is 11’0”, and features 2x single chair beds (which can be used as single or a double berth when pushed together), a Bubble diesel stove, Seiro 32” TV, VDO CD/radio, and plenty of cupboards for storage.
Next is the 6’3” dinette, which converts to another spare double berth when needed. There is storage under, as well as a Currys freezer, as well as a starboard side hatch opposite (with demountable acrylic screen and fly screen).
The galley follows (7’6”) with laminate worktops, 4 ring gas hob, Spinflo eye-level oven & grill, Amica fridge/freezer, microwave, stainless steel sink, and plenty more cupboards!
A corridor leads along to the 6’6” bathroom, with a Thetford cassette toilet, ceramic wash basin, square shower, and an AEG washing machine.
Finally, the 10’2” bedroom is at the front of the boat, and features a 6’3” x 4’0” double berth (with storage under and a cupboard over), a large double wardrobe and a smaller single wardrobe as well.
Steps lead out onto the 4’0” cratch covered well deck, with lockers either side. The 528L stainless steel water tank is housed below.
She is centrally heated by an Eberspacher diesel fired system connected to 2 radiators and a heated towel rail. Hot water is via the Eberspacher, engine or immersion.
12v power is provided by 4x domestics with a separate starter. 240v power is via the Victron Multiplus 1600w inverter/charger, 3.5kw travelpower generator, the portable Kapor IG2000 generator, or landline hookup.
Lighting on board is halogen throughout.
She is fully kitted out for liveaboard life, and will make somebody a lovely floating home or holiday getaway!
