DRUID A 64ft Traditional stern Narrowboat. Druid boasts a fitted double bedroom with double wardrobe and extra storage above and below the bed and a sumptuous fully tiled bathroom with shower and flush toilet. The 12ft galley is fitted with fridge, washing machine and free standing gas cooker, with ample storage space and worktop area. The dining area converts easily into a double bed and the lounge is open plan with a solid fuel stove and more cupboard storage next to the traditionally decorated front doors.

The boat benefits from both solid fuel and central heating which is driven from either a heat exchanger on the engine, a Webasto diesel fired heater or an immersion built into the calorifier tank which can be used when plugged into a shore line.

The boat is 4G Wi-Fi enabled and has network points throughout; this allows for a Smart TV so no need to retune each time you move. The boat also has a comprehensive monitoring and management system that allows you to control the heating, monitor the batteries, engine systems and water tank levels all from a screen in the engine room or remotely through your smart phone.

All appliances are new, the boat has passed its four year safety survey.

Druid was built by Les Allen and Sons at Valencia Wharf, Oldbury. Acknowledged as one of the finest boatbuilders on the system, this boat was launched in 1976 and has had only two owners from new. The boat has recently had a complete internal refit; all the original interior was removed including floor, walls, insulation, engine and engine room bulkhead. The engine room was extended and a 2.6 litre 5 cylinder Nanni diesel fitted. New floor was laid and the boat insulated with fire retardant foam 100mm below gunwales and 50mm above. It was dry-docked and blacked with new anodes fitted in 2018 and a hull thickness survey was carried out at that time.

The colour scheme of red, green and cream was completed during lockdown and the boat is now offered for sale as the ideal solution for an alternate lifestyle or for very comfortable extended cruising.
