Kingsground have been building award winning craft for 30 years this year and to mark the occasion the team have designed the jewel in the Kingsground crown.
If you’re looking for a Widebeam that ticks all the boxes, there’s just about enough time to hop aboard and make some choices on the finishing touches for this project. This boat is currently in-build, please feel free to contact us to see plans or arrange a visit to the workshop.
Built on a 65 x 12 Duchy shell, built bespoke for Kingsground by Colecraft, this craft boasts 2 beautiful bedrooms, a kitchen that will impress any good cook and she lends herself to living aboard in a marina or getting out on the waters for a life packed with adventure.
The rear deck, covered with a Kinver Canopies pram hood, will have adequate upholstered seating for alfresco dining, complete with dining table and courtesy lighting
From the deck, let’s head inside to the boot room. A beautiful space, designed to be a functional space, dedicated to removing boots, coats & dog leads, but beyond its practicality its a welcoming space and an elegant transition from the outdoors to the indoors that offers to keep any unwanted footprints and wet coats away from yoour living spaces.

Washing machine - keeping the noise out of your living area
Small Belfast Sink - for cleaning small muddy paws and boots, to scrubbing your potatoes!
Airing cupboard - for getting those boots and coats dry
Upholstered bench seating, and shoe/boot storage - with a space for hanging coats, dog leads etc

From this room, we head into the kitchen -
The kitchen is a well designed space that doesn’t scrimp when it comes to the room you need for food preparation and cooking activities. There are ample storage solutions without them being imposing and plenty of drawers and cabinets to keep your kitchen organised. Equipped with a Leisure Cookmaster gas Range cooker which has 4 compartments, 2 ovens, a grill and a storage/proving shelf. There is plenty of room on the ultra spacious 7 burner gas hob, with sturdy cast iron pan supports keep the cookware stable. In the Kitchen there’s a very comfortable dining area where intimate and cosy dinners can be enjoyed but it’s equally a suitable friends and family and gather too.
From this space, we head into the lounge -
The living area is a beautiful and cosy space, with plenty of natural light. Room for a full sofa, armchairs and for ambience and alternative heating there is a multi-fuel stove. With a The Frame by Samsung - 32” QLED Full HD Art Mode TV fitted to the wall. If you’re not a TV watcher, the screen can simply be returned to artwork making a nice feature. There’s is always the option of watching the clouds go by or stargazing through the 4ft roof light!
The second bedroom -
The second bedroom is a very functional space, so if you don’t need a permanent second bedroom, then this room isn’t wasted space. It’s an ideal study, nook, snug, mini-library and cosy corner. Whether you choose this room to get stuck into a hobby, curl up with a book or use as a main room, it ticks all the boxes without being a boring spare room!
Heading into the bathroom -
There’s a large walk in shower, lots and lots of storage, a vertical towel rail, macerator toilet, vanity unit with shaver/tooth brush charging point and fitted mirrors.
Through to the main bedroom -
Bedroom number two almost stole the show, almost! This main bedroom is a roomy elegant space with a walk around bed. A luxurious headboard and a king size bed, plenty of storage with three wardrobes, under bed drawers and additional seating in the upholstered bench seating to the foot of the bed and the window seat below the front doors.
Throughout the boat will be engineered oak herringbone flooring, apart from in the bathroom and the boot room where a more suitable alternative with be fitted for easy cleaning and maintenance.
She’s not just aesthetically pleasing, she boasts lots of features that make her the perfect boat for life out on the waterways.
With a Beta 90 engine, she is well equipped to take on any adventure, complemented with a Vetus Bowthruster, solar panels, a Roam X Combo Mobile 4G Wifi and TV system, The Frame by Samsung - 32” QLED Full HD Art Mode TV and many other features that mane this the perfect home-from-home or permanent liveaboard.
The boat will be painted in Epifanes Polyurethane as standard and there is an option to choose your own colours.
