A well maintained 2004 traditional stern narrowboat. 57 foot in length to allow unrestricted access to the canal network. Hull built by Hixton Hulls. Professionally fitted out by Triton Boat Fitters. The hull is in good condition as shown in the hull survey carried out immediately before hull blacking in May 2022.

This well specified vessel is perfect for living aboard or leisure cruising. We loved living on this boat for the past few years and are happy to answer any questions you might have. There is a spacious kitchen and open plan living area with a cosy fire for the winter. There's also central heating to take the chill off when needed.
The solar panel and usb charging ports make electric use simple and working from home easy.

Lounge and kitchen:

Generously sized kitchen and with plenty of storage. Beautiful solid wood kitchen counters and wood laminate flooring. A+++ efficient washing machine, dishwasher, Shoreline 118 litre 12v fridge-freezer, microwave, Vanette combination gas oven and grill. Thetford gas hob, with space saving cover.

Leisure battery voltage monitor, 2x USB sockets and 1x 12v socket conveniently placed for home working, allowing efficient laptop charging directly from leisure batteries without needed to use the inverter. 9x 230v 3 pin sockets, 2x round 3 pin sockets.

The lounge is open plan, giving a great feeling of space and light. Futon allows creation of two extra berths. A cosy Villager multi-fuel stove and 2 radiators heated by the Eberspatcher central heating.

Wood laminate flooring in entrance area. Shoe racks at foot of bed. Tumbler lock and bolt on door to engine room. Interior door with dressing mirror leading kitchen and lounge.

Main ceiling light with 3 brightness levels, reading light above bed head. Centrally heated radiator. Portholes with porthole bungs.

Engine room:

The traditional stern protects the engine from the elements. Racks and hooks for neat storage of mooring pins, mooring hooks, tiller and tools. Storage behind control panel.

3x 115aH 12v leisure batteries, and 1x heavy duty engine/start battery. Sterling power monitor and shunts provide voltage readings and amps in and out to be monitored on the engine and leisure battery banks.

230v changeover switch allows 3 pins sockets and 230v 'mains' appliances to be run from either:
Shoreline hookup on exterior of boat
Sterling inverter 1800w continuous, 2600w intermittent from leisure batteries
Dometic 230v 3.5kw Travel Power from engine

Large sprung bolts prevent unwanted access to engine room from outside while allowing easy exit.

Stern:

Lockable bolt prevents unwanted access to diesel tank. Non slip rubber matting reduces fatigue when choosing to steer while standing. 2 rear seats, to which a rotary clothes line can be mounted.

Prow and Cratch:

Prow gas locker, provides storage for gas bottles and other equipment. Cratch at bow with non-slip matting, cratch cover with roll up windows and entrances. Bench mounting points.

Vetus Mitsubishi Diesel M4.17 (M417K602A) four cylinder diesel engine producing 42hp/30.9kW. 3000rpm. Heat-exchanger cooled. A wonderfully reliable engine with the power to give confidence when navigating tidal rivers.
