Description

Classic narrowboat, 1976, built by Harborough Market boats - Length 49 ft. Lister ST3 engine completely rebuilt recently and is working like a dream. Fibreglass/wood roof with a steel hull.

Currently moored near Rickmansworth. There are marinas nearby that offer residential moorings.
Oxford has been moored in the marina for the last 4 years.
Tube to central London 40 minutes or overground to Euston in 20 minutes. Close to the M1 and M25. Steel Hull (approx. 5-6mm noted from drilling drainage holes). No survey when I bought it as it had just been stripped down to the hull at the boatyard for a reverse lay out and all was sound.

Oxford is fitted out for constant cruising as an alternative to residential mooring *please note there are no solar panels*. Ideally suited for solo occupancy, one bedroom - with the capacity for a small double bed - and one spare berth. Currently moored opposite a boat yard and marina.

New bathroom fitted last year (no pump out toilet, cassette only, but it did have a pump out toilet previously so one can be reinstalled).

Door leading to the hull is temporary as I previously had a cratch cover so this needs replacing.

Pram hood 4 years old, it folds back very easily, it as light as a convertible car hood.
New double glazed windows fitted 4 years ago (previously had Louvre windows) and new gas cooker (never used). Two 14kg gas bottle lockers (one for the shower and one for the cooker) with a third gas looker on the bow.

New BSS Examination certificate - expires in 2030.

Blacking needs doing in two years approx.
