Description

Titan is a 58ft tug style narrowboat with a Canal Transport Services shell built at their Norton Canes yard in 2006 with a high quality fit out completed over the next six years by MG Boatfitting. There is a traditional engine room housing a magnificent Gardner 3LW marine diesel. Steel shell in traditional style with two sets of engine room doors and a single door to the galley. The hull was blacked with 2 pack epoxy in August 2019, there is a current BSS certificate valid until May 2019.

Engine room with Gardner 3LW diesel and mechanical gearbox which were re built by the well known and respected Danny Williamson prior to installation in Titan. The cooling system is indirect raw water with Bowman heat exchanger and mud box. A skin tank is fitted and could be plumbed into the cooling system if preferred. Alongside the magnificent three cylinder Gardner diesel is a cocooned 5.2kw diesel generator providing AC voltage as required.

Internally the fit out is in ash forward of the panelled and painted engine room, the bedroom and Boatman's cabin are
scumbled and painted.

Traditional stern with Boatmans cabin beautifully finished with single bed and drop down table which leads to a double bedroom with numerous drawers, cupboards and wardrobe which provide adequate storage for clothes and bedding.

Bathroom with hip bath and shower over, tiled walls, wash basin with cupboard below. Thetford cassette toilet. Hot water is provided by a Truma gas/electric water heater.

The Galley houses a Statesman Legacy LPG freestanding cooker and Elite 12/24V fridge. The worktops are oak block with tiled splash backs and cupboards below.

Saloon comprises L shaped dinette which can seat four people and also provides a further two sleeping berths. There is a Squirrel multi fuel stove with back boiler which provides heat for the single gravity fed radiator.
