Cabin has been completely stripped out to allow interior steel work to be treated and painted, this includes being able to lift the floors to remove ballast to be able to paint base plate. Some of this work has been started but not completed.
Plating or replacement of rear locker required. Rear aft deck requires replacement due to corrosion and combined with install of new water drain channels.
Steel construction, semi trad design. Based on hull base plate thickness originally of 10mm, hull sides 6mm cabin sides 4mm. Please note the following work was carried out on the hull in November 2022. Boat craned out of the water for full shot blast to remove all previous coatings from base plate and sides. Following on from a full hull survey, all repair recommendations were carried out. This involved over plating to hull sides from chine up to above waterline to "D" bar, this was carried out from the turn of the bow back to the rear stem post. Restoring sacrificial chine following over plating. Plating and welding around rear stem post. Re plating weed hatch fitting new baffle plate. Re-blacking hull side plates and base plate in twin pack blacking and application of sacrificial anodes to bow and stern and possibly side plates to offer full anode protection.
None currently beyond current mooring ropes and what is currently on the boat. New rear semi trad area cover fitted.
4 cylinder Kubota marine diesel approximately 40 hp engine cooled by external skin tank. Engine room requires complete rust treatment and a full repaint ideally with the engine removed for full access.
Full exterior of the boat requires a complete repaint as currently only painted in peeling primer/undercoat.
