Alkali 50ft trad built originally 1895 by Bantock Oldham rebuilt in 1990, powered by Lister LPW 3 cylinder inboard diesel engine. This boat has a favourable survey completed 2015.
The craft is slight over beam at 7ft 2" which does restrict certain cruising areas but it gives the feel of grater space which makes this boat a comfortable live a board. It is obviously somewhat dated but has character and is at the asking price a great project for the enthusiast.
Entering from the bow is fixed seating easily accommodating six people which is also offering 2 x single berths. Moving down the vessel is the galley with units running port & starboard comprising of stainless steel sink & drainer, full gas cooker, fridge, Morco gas water heater & side hatch offering additional light and ventilation.
The bathroom is a wet room arrangement with shower, hand wash basin, mirror & Thetford cassette toilet.
Moving further towards the stern is a midships bedroom with a fixed double gunnel and corner shelving, open shelved cabinet and hanging space.
The engine room houses a Lister LPW 3 cylinder diesel engine, all the necessary electrics & 2 x side hatches.
Finally the boatman's cabin is not the usual conventional style but offers a working / storage area and has a make-up double bed.
This craft is very light and airy especially for a traditional style boat with good use of space, for further information or to arrange a viewing ring Chris 07799 216704 or David 07721 382619.
