‘WHITE RABBIT’ 36’ Cruiser Stern (1970s):
A bright and airy all steel original Springer. 2007 hull survey (out of water) showed hull very solid, blacking and new anodes fitted March 2007.
Highly attractive and spacious open plan boat (completely refurbished in 2008) containing newly fitted kitchen (including large ceramic Belfast double sink, new gas oven and hob, fridge, gas water boiler, solid oak work surface, storage and shelves), spacious living area, a solid fuel burner providing lots of heat, fitted shelves and oak wooden floor throughout.
Attractive 12v halogen spot lights run down length of boat and there are plenty of 240v sockets for everything you need.
Engine is a 3 cylinder sought-after Lister, however is not currently working and requires servicing.

Oak floor throughout, comfortable bed recently built to fit boat, lots of storage and 240v sockets. We often see a pair of swans feeding outside the window in the morning – a fun sight to start the day!
Attractive bathroom containing bath with shower attachment, sink, large mirror, chemical toilet, storage and immersion heater providing lots of hot water.
THE GARDEN:
A 58ft well loved and neatly kept garden containing a terrace, patio, flower bed, herb garden, three sheds and mature trees. The garden is a haven for birds and other wildlife. The dock is also teaming with wildlife, including a resident heron, pair of mating swans and a family of ducks (with ducklings in the Spring!).
The three insulated sheds all have electricity and plug sockets and one has a BT phone line. We currently use one as a large office (see photo), one as a walk-in wardrobe and the other as storage.
MAYPOLE DOCK:
The secure dock has its own postal address and laundry room/post room, electric and mains water hook-up and is situated two minutes walk from local shops, post office, doctor's surgery and pharmacy.
Connections to central London are via Southall train station (10 mins walk) and takes 12 minutes. The closest tube is Osterley on the Piccadilly line. Ealing Broadway is a 5 minute train journey from Southall station for the Central and District lines.
Osterley Park is nearby as are two lovely pubs that serve excellent food. Just a walk down the towpath is Hanwell Flight of Locks and further down the canal is Kew Gardens.
There is communal free parking directly outside the dock, and a full size garage available to rent for £15pm.
These two boats have been our happy home for the last 18 months and offer a peaceful, fun and comfortable home in London. They really are lovely boats and require no work before you move in.
They are also extremely economical and have been the perfect answer to buying property in London, especially in the current market.

70ft traditional narrowboatbuilt by the respected boat builder John White in 1992.
General Description-
Renegade has been our family home for the last 4 years she has always been very comfortable and cosy. With solid oak floors and mellow pine panelling she gives the feel of a cosy country cottage. Energy efficent bulbs have been used through out as well as a solar panel and large water storage she makes for a great liveaboard.
Bow-
From the bow you step into a large 11ft welldeck with a cover over 8ft of this area. The well deck contains 1 built in water tank and 2 further stainless steel tanks giving a total of approx 1000ltrs of water storage. (Very useful for liveaboards and extended cruising). Then there are 2 full size stable doors that give acess to the main cabin.
Lobby Area-
Upon entry Renegade has a lobby area with ample room for coats shoes and a wasing machine if required. Into the corridor there is a small room which would be ideal as an office or childs room. From there you enter the large comfortable open plan saloon.
Saloon-
Approx 14ft long with morso squirrel solid fuel stove with back boiler and radiators giving plenty of winter warmth. From the saloon there is a arched doorway into a walk through galley.
Galley-
Is of a walk through layout consisting of cupboards and appliances on both sides.
Equipment-
Full size gas cooker 4 ring hob, grill and oven.
Three way electrolux fridge.
Paloma instant water heater.
Large ceramic belfast style sink with period style tap and wooden worksurfaces throughout.
Kitchen cuboards are of a traditional farmhouse style again in solid wood.
From the kichen there is a corridor that leads to the bathroom and master bedroom.
Bathroom-
Is of a fully enclosed style with ceramic wash hand basin. thetford pumpout dump through toilet and a deep 3ft hip bath with shower over. Storage consists of a built in cupboard with shelving from there to the master bedroom.
Master bedroom-
The master bedroom has a 4ft fixed double bed with full height wardrobe, a 3 drawer dresser and full length mirror. Access to the engine room is via a door in the bedroom.
Engine room-
Is the home to the reliable 1.8 Bmc engine and 600 watt pure sinewave inverter and battery charger. Solar charge controller running the 80 watt solar panel. Which in turn charges the 3 110 amp hour leisure batteries.

This 57' Traditional Narrow Boat is situated on the Leeds to Liverpool canal at Adlington, Chorley. With stunning, and very private, mooring which includes a garden and parking facilities.
The mooring staging was constructed in August 2008, accessable from a large, fenced garden, ideal for pets, children, outdoor living and barbecues. Included in the sale is a wooden, garden, storage bunker with felted roof.
Less than ten minutes cruise to the White Bear Marina (Chorley) for deisel, water, chandlery and sluice facilities.
Ideal mooring for residential or leisure, however neigbouring boats are all residential, therefore providing a safe and private environment.
With very attractive mooring fees, (Which also includes garden and parking) payable to Allanson Hall Farm of £624.00 per annum, paid in full until November 2009.
The boat was manufactured in 2007 by 'John White Boats' of Liverpool. Interior fit out by Mr P Reed of Chorley. First cruise, 3rd May 2008.
Although affectionately christened 'Little Annie', the sign writing wasn't carried out, leaving you free to rename her!
The basic construction includes:- 10mm thick carbon steel bottom plates; 6mm thick carbon steel sides and counter plates, the cabin is constructed from 4mm thick carbon steel plate.
The bottom and hull is stiffened with 50mm X 5mm angle at 600mm pitch, the first and last stiffeners adjusted to 650mm pitch.
The roof is constructed from 4mm carbon steel, stiffened with 30mm x 3mm RHS.
The interior is lined with light oak throughout, including all doors, storage cupboards and kitchen unit doors.
Engine Room: Wood panels, housing all gauges, controls, gears and fuses etc. Easy access hatch to Beta Marine, Beta 38 Engine. Gearbox PRM 150. 'Shurflo' marine fresh water pump. 'Sterling ProPower Q' Quasi sine wave inverter. Constructed, non slip steps, leading to solid wooden/steel doors and sliding, steel hatch to tiller.
Double Bedroom: Includes Double bed with spring interior matress, two large under-bed storage draws. Wardrobe with hanging space and shelf. Chest of draws and two storage cupboards above the bed. Also houses the hot water tank in the cavity behind the under-bed draws. Central heating controls to the wall and down lights to headboard of bed, fully carpeted and central ceiling light.
Bathroom: Includes Manhattan Quadrant Sphere, full size, fully tiled shower cubicle. With round tray and round sliding screen door and concealed slimline waste. Grohtherm 1000 shower with thermostat mixers. Corner vanity unit, housing wash basin with Capri range taps and under storage cupboard. Thetford Cassette WC with built in water tank and flush operated by a 12v electric pump. Fully tiled floor and central ceiling light.
Kitchen: Includes modern kitchen units with oak doors, stainless steel sink and drainer with Mono Sink mixer taps. 'Dometic RM7550L' Refrigerator, with interior light, vegetable draw, door storage and small freezer compartment, with lockable door when cruising. 'Spinflo by Thetford' Gas cooker, Stainless steel and glass. 4 burner hob, seperate grill and oven with Spark Ignition and Glass lid to hob (which acts as a splash back whilst cooking). The kitchen area has a fully ceramic tiled floor and co-ordinated tiled splash back to work tops with electrical points. Work tops are laminate, black marble effect and there are corner shelves to the end of the base units.
Dinning Area: Free moving, pine effect dinning table with one side drop leaf. L- shaped fxed seating with under storage, which easily converts to a second Double Bed. Also includes co-ordinated scatter cushions to compliament the lounge chairs.
Lounge Area: Includes two modern, bucket chairs and two fixed corner storage cupboards. (There is plenty of space for a bed-settee as an alternative to chairs if more sleeping facilities are required) Electric points and aerial point and fully fitted beige carpet. There are two steps leading to the cratch through two, part glazed doors.
This Narrow Boat has full central heating, outside TV aerial, electric horn, mooring pins, lock keys, gang plank and poles (one with a hook). It is in excellent condition, as new, and has done very few cruising hours.
Unfortunately, a reluctant sale due to ill health.
