Harlech is a 62ft steel cruiser, built by Harborough Marine 1986, maintained in excellent condition and undergone a complete refit in 2007/2008. Hull blackened, hull surveyed and new anodes July 2009 (excellent condition). BSC until November 2010 and licensed until January 2011. Engine 1.5 BMC, regularly serviced and rewired in 2009.
Accommodation from bow to stern. Front deck with gas locker & water tank under. Army canvas front cratch cover, with waney edge wooded bench. Front double doors and side windows opening into open plan living, dining and kitchen area, which is spacious, light and airy. Reclaimed pine floorboards throughout and rustic country style decor. Cottage stove with cooking plates, bench/day bed (therefore plenty of room for guests). Galley style kitchen, with ample work top space and storage, gas stove/oven, large reclaimed belfast lab sink, with antique style taps.
Bathroom separated from kitchen by rustic reclaimed pine wood to compliment floorboards, with double door and latch. 1930's 4ft claw foot cast iron roll top bath, with original taps. Thetford cassette toilet. Stained glass window built into wall that separates bathroom from bedroom. Corner built in cabinet for storage.
Bedroom at rear of boat is spacious with a double bed & new memory foam mattress, ample storage underneath bed. Wardrobe built from reclaimed pine wood. Small multi fuel stove. Calorifier and engine control box, also used for extra storage.
Steps leading out of bedroom onto cruiser stern, which has removable army canvas cover. Three storage areas within cruiser stern, with two being large enough for additional gas bottles.
Three leisure batteries and Waeco 300w pure sine wave inverter. Wired for 240v with sockets at rear and within living area, 12v lighting. All boating equipment included: windlasses, mooring pins, ropes, poles, fenders.

New Dawn was commissioned on 18 September 2000. She is a traditional Narrow boat , built and professionally fitted out by Bridgewater Boat builders to the highest of standards using top quality materials and finish.
She is of medium oak wood finish, with white gloss painted tongued-and-grooved ceilings and solid brass fittings (curtain rails, drawer handles, etc) throughout.
New Dawn incorporates a remarkable level of storage including cupboards, hanging space, drawers and shelving units in the bedroom, airing cupboard and vanity unit in the bathroom, and drawers, cupboards and open shelf space in the galley, with the benefit also of a cleverly concealed slide out cupboard. The living area has a display shelf with under lighting, with cupboard space and additional hidden storage under the L-shaped settee. There are two tables, for use together or independently, which are stored away in a wall unit and are easily accessed when required.
She is a truly beautiful boat, we are proud to call our home. We live on board all year round and during the coldest of winters (as we have all just experienced) she has kept us cosy and warm. She would equally make a perfect holiday retreat.
We will never return to living on land again, but now wish to expand our horizons and venture further. In order to achieve this our next home will be a yacht (preferably a Miller Fifer). Unfortunately in order to fund our ambition we have to sell New Dawn. If we won the lottery, we would not as we are confident in saying that of all the boats we visited in our search for a floating home, none came near her standard.
New Dawn was surveyed on the 28/07/2007 (and now on 16/10/09) the result being a clean bill of health (hull thickness as new). Survey available whilst viewing the boat.

looking for a narrow boat to live aboard or just for holidays then look no further this boat realy must be seen her name is layla rose i have recentley just had this boat totaly refitted out to a moden high standard the pic speak for them self were do i start well the boat was total striped out in july 2009 and then refitted with new walls new celing new floor a new top of the range kicthen new bathroom new coal fire pump out toilet new living room new lights new cooker new hob new work tops new sink new shoreline fridge 6 new leisure batteries 110 amp each thats 660 amps new invertor 500w new 22inc flat screen tv with built in dvd free view new windows and repainted in blakes paint new rear pram cover new front cracth cover & cracth board new flooring & i ree blacked her on the 6/3/2010 3 coats the boat is licence untill 31/9/2010 & has a safety certificate untill 2013 anoes are in good condition as was replaced in 2008 this is a 3 berth boat witch could easy be made in to a 4 berth if you wished and she has been newley rewired as well ow and the engine was rebuilt in 2006 cost of £4200 by the last owner and since then the engine has hardley been used new alternator fitted 2010 recon starter motor 2010 so you wont find anthor boat that has had as much work and money spent on that easy THE ENGINE IS A 1.8 BMC EASY TO MAINTAIN AND ONE OF THE BEST MARINE ENGINE.S |

| I am a 26 year old nature lover who is seeking to enjoy the water side and nature.
I desperately need to get away from the traditional concrete city life for a bit. I am looking for a narrow boat to sit for a couple of months before I go traveling to Bali at end of may.
Maybe there is somebody who has a boat and wants to travel over the next couple of months and would like somebody reliable who will care and enjoy and possibily develop the space if your interested.
I am also willing to pay for rent and exchange my skills in furnishings. My back ground is in furniture design and set design. I also create illustrations, painting and art should you need any of this work completed in exchange for rent.

Ideally I am looking for a narrow boat near london where there are trees and beauty around.
