Millie IV is a 57ft Hancock & Lane Cruiser Style Narrowboat, benefitting from recent survey and subsequent hull maintenance to the value of £5000. She's had sections of 5mm over-plating as recommended and blacking, giving peace of mind that the hull is sturdy and will last for years to come. Measurements are fully insurable. Recommended works listed and reflected in price- please do not request to view without reading through recommended works. She's a lovely, spacious boat with an airy feel and would make a great home for somebody who would like to put their own stamp on her. I had started to do recommended works whilst living on board, but life circumstances drastically changed and I now live on land. Im more than happy for interested parties to arrange for a survey; the yard where the boat is moored are able to crane out.

Entering through the stern door, above is a secure hatch, to the left is a cupboard with switch panel, Victron inverter and at the bottom the large 240v immersion heater which supplies instant hot water to the shower and taps via shoreline and engine if off-grid.
Past the cupboard, to the left is the light and airy bathroom with laminate tiles, Thetford cassette toilet, built-in sink with storage underneath and shower with solar fan vent above which was fitted in 2023.
Beyond the bathroom is the double room with super comfy fitted double bed with storage space underneath and at the end of the bed. There are fitted corner shelves in the room.
Next is the spare room which I used as a large dressing area but could easily accommodate bunk beds. I began to refurbish this area by stripping the wallpaper and carpet from the walls, this is therefore a blank slate to decorate to your own taste. There are built-in corner shelves on the left-hand side of this area.
The next room is the kitchen which features an amazing amount of storage space, multiple units, fridge, gas oven and hob installed in 2022, sink installed in 2022. There was a washing machine in the kitchen at one point, so there is the possibility of plumbing one in if preferred.
The living area has a fully functional wood stove, sofa bed, TV with aerial, built in shelves and fitted radio. Theres a step which leads out of the double doors to the bow.
Bow features gas locker with space for two gas cylinders.
Comes with lock keys, fenders and float.
The Ford 4.1 Southampton engines were car engines that were adapted for marine use, this means that parts are a lot cheaper and easier to get hold of. Engine runs on the key and was checked by marine electrician February 2024 who confirmed all systems running. Boat hasn't been taken out of the marina for x3 years; prior to this the owners took Millie IV throughout the canals of the UK.
Fire extinguishers in every room, fire blanket in kitchen.
